What each figure counts
For administrators. One plain definition for each figure on the Reports page.
This page is for administrators. The figures below are on Reports, which needs the Admin role. See Read your reports for where each one appears.
Every figure covers the reporting range you choose, counted in whole days in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time, the same everywhere). Each also compares with the period just before.
Headline figures
Unique viewers : The number of different people who viewed your presentations in the range. A person who comes back counts once.
Sessions : The number of visits. One person can have several sessions.
Views : The pages and sections a reader opened.
Avg. time on deck : Engagement time averaged per session, not how long a session lasted. Time when the reader's browser tab was not in focus is left out, so this figure is lower than the time between a visit's first and last action.
Engagement rate : The share of sessions in which the reader was engaged. A session counts as engaged when the reader stayed for at least 10 seconds or opened at least 2 pages, or when Google Analytics already marked it as engaged. The page shows the figure without a target, so there is no number to aim for.
Presentation table
Avg. time : The same measure as Avg. time on deck, for one presentation.
Deleted presentation : The name shown for a presentation that is no longer in your library. It still counts in the range.
Consumption metrics
Videos started : How many times a video inside a presentation began playing during the range.
Videos completed : How many of those plays reached the end of the video rather than stopping part way.
Video completion rate : Completed plays as a share of plays started. The figure is blank when no video was played.
Link clicks : Clicks on links inside a presentation: downloads, external sites and contact links.
Pages read to the end : How many times a reader scrolled a page all the way to its foot rather than leaving it part read.
Avg. time per page : The mean time a reader spent on one page, across every page view in the range.
When a figure is missing
- A dash with "Not measured" means we couldn't work out the figure for this range.
- "Analytics isn't connected for this enterprise yet." means your enterprise has no analytics linked yet, so there is nothing to report. It doesn't mean nobody watched. Ask your Predictive Presentation Technologies contact.
- "Those figures didn't load." means we couldn't reach the analytics service. Try again in a moment.
Built-in analytics inside a presentation
Some presentations carry their own analytics. The library then shows a note: "Built-in analytics in this Agentic Presentation aren't used because we measure it for you, so there's nothing to do." The figures on Reports come from our own measurement, so you don't need to act.
