Glossary

Learn the words you see on the screen in Rapid Pitch.

One short definition for each word on the screen. Words are in alphabetical order.

Admin

A role. An Admin can do everything a Creator can, and also use Home, Reports and Admin, add files to My Library, and invite people. See Viewer, Creator and Admin.

Agentic Presentation

The word the screens use for one presentation in Rapid Pitch: a presentation that readers can open from a link and, when the assistant is switched on, ask questions about. These guides say "presentation" after the first mention.

Assistant

The helper on a presentation page. Readers can ask it questions, and it answers from the files chosen for that presentation. It is not on every presentation. Ask your Predictive Presentation Technologies contact if you want it on one.

Browser session

One sign-in on one browser. If you are signed in on a laptop and a phone, you have two. Sign out all browser sessions ends all of them. See Your account and User settings.

The button that copies a presentation's link, or a file's link, so you can paste it where you want. See Share a link.

Creator

A role. A Creator can see what a Viewer sees, plus presentations that are not published and the Knowledge files. A Creator has no extra actions. See Viewer, Creator and Admin.

Demo library

The sample presentations a new Salesforce install shows until the organization is connected and its first presentation is published. See What a new install sees.

Draft

A presentation that is ready but not published yet. It has no link to share. See Published, Draft, Processing and Failed.

Enterprise

Your company's space in Rapid Pitch. It has its own members, library and presentations. Some people belong to more than one. See Switch between enterprises.

Failed

A presentation that could not be prepared. Ask your Predictive Presentation Technologies contact. See Published, Draft, Processing and Failed.

Knowledge

A group of files. The label says "Files the assistant can answer from." See Files in the library.

Library

The page where you browse the presentations and files available to you. See Browse and search the library.

My Library

A group of files. The label says "What you send us to build from." Admins add files here. See Add a file.

Needs attention

A note on files that cannot be used yet. It says "Say what each of these files is for, or delete it." See When a file is not ready.

A link that keeps working even if the main link of a presentation or file is changed. The screen says "It keeps working whatever the link above is changed to." See Share a link.

Processing

A presentation that was added recently and is still being prepared. Wait. The page updates itself. See Published, Draft, Processing and Failed.

Public Assets

A group of files. The label says "Files viewers can open or download from a presentation." Every role can see them. See Files in the library.

Published

A presentation that people can open, and that has a link to copy. Only your Predictive Presentation Technologies contact decides whether a presentation is published. Only published presentations appear in Salesforce. See Published, Draft, Processing and Failed.

Reports figures

Some words you meet on the Reports page:

  • Videos started: how many times a video inside a presentation began playing during the range.
  • Videos completed: how many of those plays reached the end of the video.
  • Video completion rate: completed plays as a share of plays started. It is blank when no video was played.
  • Link clicks: clicks on links inside a presentation, such as downloads, external sites and contact links.
  • Pages read to the end: how many times a reader scrolled a page all the way to its foot.
  • Avg. time per page: the mean time a reader spent on one page, across every page view in the range.

Salesforce tab

The Rapid Pitch tab in Salesforce. It opens your library, read-only. See Use the Rapid Pitch tab.

Select ICM

The name of the action in the Salesforce package. On a Contact or Campaign, it lets you choose a presentation and save its link to the record. See Choose a presentation for a Contact or Campaign.

Unfinished

A presentation whose upload stopped before it finished. Ask your Predictive Presentation Technologies contact. See Published, Draft, Processing and Failed.

URL code

The short code for your enterprise that appears in your presentation links. An Admin can see it on the enterprise details page, but cannot change it.

Viewer

A role. A Viewer sees published presentations and the Public Assets files, and can open them and copy their links. See Viewer, Creator and Admin.
