Choose what a presentation can answer from
For administrators. Add or remove the files the assistant uses for one presentation.
This page is for administrators. You need the Admin role to see these screens. Viewers and Creators don't see them.
Each presentation can have its own set of files for the assistant to answer from. You choose them on the presentation's own page.
Open the presentation's page
- Open Library.
- Select the presentation's title.
The page opens with the presentation's name as its heading. The section This presentation can answer from shows how many files are chosen.
Add a file
- Under Add a file to this presentation, choose a file from the list.
- Select Add.
You see the message "File added. It can take up to half an hour before the assistant can use it."
The list offers the files your enterprise keeps under Knowledge that are ready to use and not yet on this presentation. A file that is still being prepared doesn't appear until it is ready.
Remove a file
- Find the file in the list.
- Select Remove.
- In the box that asks you to confirm, read "It can take up to half an hour to stop." Then select Remove.
The assistant can keep using the file for up to half an hour after you remove it.
Files you can't remove here
A file marked Available to every presentation is shared by all your presentations. You can't remove it from one presentation. The assistant uses it everywhere.
If the page says there is nothing to add
- No files yet means no file is chosen for this presentation. If your enterprise has no files for the assistant, the page tells you to add one under Knowledge in the library, and says every file added there is available to every presentation. If it has some, the page tells you to add one of your enterprise's files below.
- "Every file the assistant answers from is already here." means you have added all of them.
- "None of your enterprise's files are ready to add yet." means your files exist but none are ready. A file that isn't ready shows the note "Fix this under “Knowledge” in the library." See When a file is not ready.
