Choose a presentation for a Contact or Campaign

Save a presentation's link on a Salesforce record and send it.

You can save a presentation's link on a Contact or a Campaign, then use that link in your usual Salesforce emails.

Choose a presentation

  1. In Salesforce, open the Contact or Campaign.
  2. Choose Select ICM. This is the name of the action in the Rapid Pitch package for Salesforce. If it is not there, your Salesforce administrator has not added it yet. See Install in Salesforce.
  3. Pick a presentation from the list. Each one has a picture.
  4. Save it to the record.
  5. Open the saved link once, to check that the presentation loads in a new browser tab.

Only published presentations appear in the list. A presentation that is a Draft, or still Processing, does not. Published, Draft, Processing and Failed explains the states.

Send it

Use the saved link in your normal Salesforce email workflow. Anyone with the link can open the presentation without signing in.

If the list says No ICMs Available

Check these in order:

  1. Ask your Salesforce administrator to check that you have the Rapid Pitch permission set. Without it, the list can say No ICMs Available.
  2. Ask your administrator to check that your library has a published presentation. The package shows this message for more than one reason, so this check matters.
  3. If both are fine, ask your Predictive Presentation Technologies contact.

If the link you saved says Link unavailable when you open it, see Link unavailable and Temporarily unavailable.
